LoveUPDF was built around one non-negotiable: we never store your files. While other PDF services hold your documents on servers for hours — or use them for AI training — we designed every tool to process and delete. Your content stays yours.

1. Privacy-First Philosophy
We built LoveUPDF because we believe privacy shouldn't be a premium feature. Every tool is designed around a simple principle: your documents belong to you, and we have no business reading them, storing them, or profiting from them.
No accounts, no logins, no personal information required. You can use every PDF tool immediately without creating a profile, sharing your email, or telling us anything about yourself. We don't track who you are or what you're working on.
Our business model is straightforward: provide excellent free tools. Your data is not our product — and it never will be.
2. File Security & Encryption
All file transfers to and from LoveUPDF are protected with 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption — the same standard used by banks and governments worldwide. From the moment your file leaves your device to when processing completes, it's protected from interception.
Client-side tools (Merge, Split, Rotate, Organize, Remove Pages): files are processed in your browser and never uploaded at all. They literally never leave your device.
3. Automatic File Deletion — Zero Storage
We never store your files. This is our most important promise, and it's built into how the product works — not just written into a policy.
- Client-side tools (Merge, Split, Rotate, Organize, Remove Pages): Processed entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded. Your files never leave your device.
- Server-side tools (Compress, Lock, Unlock): Files travel via encrypted connection, are processed in server memory, and are permanently deleted immediately after download. No copies, no backups, no logs of your content.
We do not read, scan, analyze, or use your document contents for any purpose — including AI training, data mining, or marketing.
5. Third-Party Services
LoveUPDF uses a minimal set of third-party services:
- Cloud hosting: Secure servers for our server-side tools. Providers do not have access to your file contents — all data is encrypted.
- Analytics: Anonymous, aggregated usage data to improve our tools. No personal identifiers are collected.
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. Full stop.
6. Your Rights & Control
Because we don't store your files or create user profiles, there is no personal data for us to provide, modify, or delete on your behalf. You maintain complete control over your documents at all times.
If you have a privacy concern or believe we've inadvertently collected data we shouldn't have, contact us at legal@luvupdf.com and we'll address it promptly.
7. Children's Privacy
LoveUPDF is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we've inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. When we make meaningful changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this page occasionally — though given our minimal data collection, there's rarely much to update.
